Four major theme parks call the Anaheim/Buena Park area their home. In addition, Universal Studios and Magic Mountain are 20 and 45 minutes to the north respectfully.
Down the road a bit, just 90 minutes south in San Diego are four more theme parks that draw millions of visitors a year. Seaworld, the San Diego Zoo, Legoland, and the San Diego Wild Animal Park all offer a great day trip from Anaheim and are close enough that you will be able to spend a full day exploring these attractions and be back at the hotel for dinner. Celebrating all that is California, Disney’s newest park pulls out all the stops, giving you a pure and adrenalin charged experience. The resort, among other things is home to the California Screamin’ roller coaster, a wood coaster much like the smaller versions in both San Diego and Santa Cruz. Then there is the Maliboomer, consisting of three 180-foot towers that launch you straight up at an astonishing speed, and you come back to earth as you left it, in a hurry! Or you can take a tour around a Hollywood back lot in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot, which is full of glitz, glamour and most of all fun. There is really something for everyone, so if you are coming to Anaheim you should really make time for this amazing park.

Disneyland offers children both young and old a magical and memorable experience, memories of which will last a lifetime. Disneyland has eight themed lands with classic Disney characters, attractions, live entertainment, and daily parades which make their way down Main Street USA and the rest of the park. Disneyland encompasses more than 85 acres with more than 60 major rides, 50 shops, and 30 restaurants. Fireworks and special shows are presented nightly during summer months and peak periods. In order to fully enjoy Disneyland try a multi day pass which allows you to experience everything your heart desires. Disneyland is open 365 days a year and pets can be left at the resort's kennel for a nominal fee.

Medieval Times, with its chivalry and showmanship, can be enjoyed here in Anaheim/Buena Park. Located moments from Anaheim in neighboring Buena Park, it is one of two locations west of the Mississippi. Medieval Times thrills its guests with the legends and tales of medieval Europe. You can experience the thrills of the famous Andalusian Stallions and their great show, knights locked in battle and jousting tournaments, and princesses impressed by the battle that unfolds in front of your eyes. Movieland Wax Museum

Come and walk through the museum and enjoy over 165 of your favorite movie stars, 48 television stars, and 10 musical entertainers, all life size and life like, in settings from the movies and shows that have made them famous. Painstakingly made by hand and from scratch, these life-like recreations are a must see while in the Buena Park area.
